You can find out a little more about my studio, DragonVoxMedia and my Voice-over work at www.dragonvox.com

I've added these next 2 songs by Jim Harrison.
These were both recorded in my DragonVox Studio--and I liked the way they turned out.

Livin Lovin features Jim on acoustic guitar  & vocals, TJ White & Rod Martens from "The Source" on drums & bass, Tanya White on backing vocals, & Sandy White on electric guitars & keyboards.

Tonight I wanna cry

Yeah, it's for demonstration again. The producer's job on a song--in theory--is to bring forth the greatest performance from the singer, the band and those engineers who have been in charge of the recording plus compliment the musical arrangement of the song.  Sometimes...that's not needed.  Sometimes you cross paths with a wonderful interpreter of a song---and you do one take...and call it--good.  I've had that miracle happen several times--once with Tanya singing "Silent Night" at 3am.  Ben Travis sang and played this rendition of a Keith Urban song.  One take.  I can go back and re-do vocals, guitar parts and the like.  But sometimes, if you're lucky you "CAPTURE A MOMENT",  That's why some of the recordings you hear on this site may NOT be polished...but they reflect an important time to me...the producer.  Being there as it's happening...

By the way..."sometimes the producer's job is just to take the gun away..."
...don't know where I heard that, but I always thought it was kinda funny...

and sometimes true...

Now for something different...I have uploaded the last 2 movements of one of my ballets (or at least I always wanted to see it performed as one).  It's from "The Courage of Water", which I wrote as a tribute for my Dad when he recovered from cancer.  The entire piece is around 25 minutes and had to be mixed real-time.  Composed, performed, and produced by Sandy White--with Michael Aukofer on drums.
