| Yes I really used write and play country music. I wrote this song, recorded and produced it several years ago. I play acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, bass & drums, and sang it in my then "best Neil Diamond". I've only perfomed this live once with solo guitar. I warn you, it's pretty dark subject matter, with "happy" music but when I wrote it I had been listening to Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" album. Ain't exactly the Partridge Family... Black Rose (Copyright Sandy White BMI) Tanya wrote the words & I wrote the music on our honeymoon--once again, I played all the stuff, recorded & produced. Best Neil Diamond--again. Come Closer (Copyright Sandy White/Tanya White BMI) Now, from the late night music catalog...these are bookend pieces called "PATH". Part 1 is "An Invitation to Visit". Part 2 is "A Sense of Intrigue". You'll be delighted (or at least amused) that the titles came from...a home repair book on how to build your own garden path. Composed, performed, recorded and produced by Sandy White.
