You may not know that Tanya is a graphic artist.  She has lettered and pinstriped cars & trucks, painted murals and signs and more.  She can be reached at tanyassigns@cox.net or at 316-644-2243.  Her website is at www.tanyassigns.com

For demonstration only, we've included this version of Eliza Gikyson's "Break the Chain", a song against domestic violence here.  Written by Eliza Gilkyson & Robert McAntee. We first discovered her music on her 1988 CD "Legends of Rainmaker".  Then we started looking for more of her material and found the CD "Pilgrims"--which centerpiece song is called "Calling All Angels".  The song is on YouTube, as is one recorded on Austin City Limits called "Hard Times in Babylon".  She has a beautiful pure voice and is one of music compostion's unsung heros and rare find.  Please check her out at www.elizagilkyson.com .

This song from "Legends of Rainmaker" features Tanya on keyboards and all vocals, and Sandy on electric & acoustic guitars (7 TOTAL!), bass, drums.  Plus 2 tracks of sound effects.

BREAK THE CHAIN

I also wanted to add this version of a Crystal Gayle song that Tom. Tanya & I recorded--again, for demonstration purposes only!  I got the arrangement idea from somebody that I knew from Colby--Nori Hendryx.  She & I wanted to put together a band years ago...but she moved--then I found Tanya and...there ya go...

READY FOR THE TIMES TO GET BETTER

For Demonstation Only once again...Another from Eliza Gilkyson's "Legends of Rainmaker" CD.  We saw her in KC opening for Dan Fogelberg years ago--they shared the same guitar player--Robert McAntee.  The lyrics are fantastic!  Sandy plays everything, Tanya sings. Sean Faulkner requested this song as part of he & Heather's wedding.
"Tangible things...those breakable things...strip them away--and only the love remains..."

TANGIBLE THINGS

Once again, something from Eliza Gilkyson's "Legends of Rainmaker".  Yes, Tanya & I were pretty obsessed with her music in the early 90's.  Tanya doesn't like her vocals on this.  I hate all the cool new (then) digital reverb.  But the guitar parts may get me a job with Tom Petty.  I'm still waiting for that phone call.  Yep. While I was mixing this song, there was a thunderstorm going on--I recorded thunder with the windows open at the end of the song, but accidentally erased it.  Rats.  It was cool.  Sandy plays everything, Tanya sings.
